Internships

Adonis Blue Environmental Consultants offer a Coast Explorer internship every year, in partnership with and funded by The Crown Estate. Other partners in the past have included Vattenfall and Canterbury City Council. The Coast Explorer Internship Programme offers a unique opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and on-the-job experience across a variety of organisations working at the cutting edge in the marine environment. Each partner organisation provides opportunities for the intern to develop skills in specialist areas including, marine conservation, climate change, renewable energy, social sustainability, seabed leasing and marine planning.

The intern will get the chance to undertake a research project focusing on a pre-chosen theme from the project partners, in the marine and coastal environment (see advert for more information). Additional activities include working with a wide range of stakeholders, the media and the public, surveying marine life, running events and activities, press and promotion.

This internship runs for 6 months and is paid on a full-time salary. This year’s internship has just concluded with two fantastic interns. You can see some of the work they got involved with over on our Youtube channel.

Next year’s internship will be advertised on this page and elsewhere on our social media. Stay tuned!
