James Madden
, BSc (Hons) MSc ACIEEMJames is an experienced ecologist managing a wide range of development projects from pre-planning through to completion and post-development monitoring. He has undertaken survey work on commercial, residential and infrastructure projects using his broad habitat and species knowledge, which is supported by strong analytical and report writing skills.
As a consultant ecologist, James provides vital support to large and multi-phased projects, including the collation of field and desk-based data as well as analysis and digital mapping. James has experience in the use of AutoCAD and QGIS software.
He has a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from St Andrew's, as well as Great Crested Newt (Class 1) and Bats (Class 2) Natural England Survey Licences.
Prior to joining the consultancy he gained 10 years of experiencer with Lloyd Bore and Native Ecology, specialising in Ecological Appraisals and species specific surveys, habitat condition assessments and BNG assessments.
